The Australian Respiratory Early Surveillance Team for Cystic Fibrosis (AREST CF) is a collaboration of specialist paediatric cystic fibrosis centres in Perth and Melbourne dedicated to the improvement of respiratory health and outcomes in children with cystic fibrosis.
We run a unique program aimed specifically at children under the age of seven years, which focuses on the assessment, treatment and prevention of cystic fibrosis lung disease in young children.
Re-Base will be used as a database specific to the data requirements of this program. This will involve the collation and retrieval of longitudinal data from many children at different sites in a format that is useable both clinically and for research, specifically for complex statistical use.
